Thank you for spreading some joy to kids and families during the holidays
The Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa and The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa would like to thank you for your contribution to the 2021 Holiday Gift Program.
Nearly 380 organizations, groups, families, and individuals donated, helping distribute gifts to hundreds of children and youth in our communities.
There are several ways that you can donate to the Holiday Gift Program, whether it’s through the Gift and Toy Drive, a gift card donation, or a monetary donation.
Holidays Celebrated by Children and Youth in Ottawa
Ottawa has a diverse population and the families supported by The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa celebrate a variety of holidays.
Donations from the Holiday Gift Program will also be distributed during various cultural celebrations throughout the year, where your generosity will continue to have a profound impact on Ottawa’s families.
Our communities are so grateful for your support during these challenging times.

Gift and Toy Drive
In recognition of the diversity of religions, beliefs, and holidays of the families The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa work with, we have renamed the Angel Tree program to ‘The Gift and Toy Drive’.
As a family or workplace, you can set up a collection of toys and gifts for children and youth of all genders and ages (0-20 years old).
From toys and sports items, to tech and clothing, gifts of all kind will make a difference to children and youth in your community.
Please note: We ask that donated toys and gifts be unwrapped.

Gift cards help support the various needs of the children, youth, and families in our community.
To support children and youth of all ages, please consider the following age groups when donating a gift card.
Please note: We ask that gift card values range from $25, $50, $75, and $100. Additionally, when donating a gift card, please ensure that the amount is clearly indicated on the card.

Monetary Donations
Monetary donations for the Holiday Gift Program will go towards purchasing gifts and essential items for children, youth, and families supported by The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.
