What We Do
The Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa believes that all children and youth deserve an equal chance at growing into healthy and successful adults. The Foundation, a fundraising arm of the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa, funds programs with this goal in mind.
The programs offered provide children, youth and families with opportunities to empower themselves and to reach their full potential.
Education is key to one’s success and for our communities’ most vulnerable children and youth; it is a critical component of their future. Find out more about the specific Educational Endeavours that are funded by the Children's Aid Foundation of Ottawa.
Things that most of us take for granted on a daily basis are regular struggles for some children and their families. Find out more about the Life Enriching Opportunities that are made possible by the efforts of the Children's Aid Foundation of Ottawa.
"Thank you so much for this opportunity! I am so grateful for everything that the Foundation has done (and continues to do) for me. I want to thank the donors as they are helping so much and I am honoured to be a part of the Dare to Dream Bursary Program."

"On my first day of camp, I was a bit nervous but excited all at the same time. I had a great time. At the end of the week, I didn't want to leave. All campers and counsellors were very nice. I learned so much and even got the chance to be part of a musical. I can't wait to go back next year!"

"With the help of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa I was able to play soccer and take karate lessons. The Foundation helped me in a way that my parents just weren’t able to do alone."

"Having tutoring available to our youth helps them to learn how to persevere through difficult and daunting tasks in the achievement of their goals. Sometimes, these youth have had school changes or gaps in their education, thus missing crucial building blocks that impede their learning. Thank you for providing these opportunities to these deserving children and youth."
