Privacy

The Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa is committed to protecting the privacy of our website users. We value your trust and recognize that maintaining this trust requires that we be open and accountable in our use of personal information that you provide. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Personal information is any information that is used to distinguish, identify or contact an individual. This includes whether an individual has donated to the Foundation, the amount they have donated and the individual’s private contact information.

When the Foundation collects Personal information directly from individuals, we identify the purpose for which it is collected. These purposes include processing online donations, processing online event registration, and providing information on the activities of the Foundation through our email sign up.

The Foundation’s web pages contain online forms that allow visitors to make an online donation or register for an event. The personal and credit card information provided on these forms are only used to process the transaction.

All on-line transactions and contributions on this site occur through a safe, private, and secure system that protects the users personal information. From time to time we may communicate with users via email. If a user does not wish further communication, s/he is given the opportunity to opt out.
