You Will Help Ottawa Youth As They Age Out of Foster Care
Youth supported by The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa have many challenges transitioning to adulthood. This prompted us to start a new program called “Home Base” to help support youth aging out of foster care.
One of these youth, Taylor, was experiencing abuse from her partner and feeling uncertain about her future. The Home Base program helped her at a time when she felt alone. Through the support of generous donors like you, Taylor overcame her past trauma and was able to move into a safe living environment and lined up a job for when she graduates.
Join other donors to help a youth like Taylor.
One of my families was in desperate need for beds for their children. One of the kids was sleeping on an incline, as her bed frame was cracked in half. The parents were so thankful for the Foundation’s generosity and they said their hearts were full of joy. Lillian was jumping up and down in excitement over her new comfy bed. Thank you so much for putting smiles on the faces of many parents and kids in Ottawa.
