Salut! will provide a tasting experience of specially curated Niagara and Ontario VQA wines, accompanied by a reception and sumptuous 3-course dinner. Our head sommelier, James Bertrand, and his team of expert sommeliers, will bring you on a journey as they share stories, life-experiences, and professional expertise about anything and everything wine!
You will hear directly from a youth ambassador and Dare to Dream Bursary recipient, who was formerly in foster care. They will share their story of how the bursary, as well as ‘Youth Works’ programs offered by CAS Ottawa, helped them to achieve their dream of attending post-secondary school and transition to a purposeful life.
Kelly Raymond, Executive Director of The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa will share an update on their strategies and initiatives for 2024 and beyond. She will also provide an overview of how their Youth Works wrap-around programs help our Ottawa kids to transition from foster care to successful young adulthood and independence.
You will have the chance to win some amazing prizes during our live auction and raffle.
Last year, the incredible Dream Launcher community raised $72,764 for the most vulnerable youth in Ottawa. This helped 42 youth pursue – or continue to pursue – their postsecondary education.
